Screening Salon: Our Music & Our Dreams Tues. Dec 29
Michael Mollura will be with us as our Featured Guest. Through talk time and screened content, we will immerse in his innovative, creative and warm-hearted spirit to explore the fascinating intersection of these two worlds, and how they can contribute to our health. (Also for those who can linger, Michael has agreed to share some more of his music for about 15 minutes after the salon ends... a extra treat!)
Michael is both an award-winning composer of feature films and a PhD level Jungian psychologist. Films featuring his compositions include Climate Refugees, The Road to Dharma, Heal, Awake: The Life of Yogananda, Reconciliation, HBO's Hot Coffee and Clarity. In his clinical practice, Michael specializes in incorporating original music to access neural pathways to healing. (for more scroll down)

ABOUT FEATURED GUEST, MICHAEL MOLLURA, PhD, MA, MFA
As a composer, Michael Mollura's music compositions have been used for theater, cinema, TV, commercial and world music genres for 3 decades. His extensive experience as a composer, studio musician and performer makes for a unique perspective. This, along with his signature authenticity, compassion and enthusiasm, also infuses his clinical psychology practice.
Musically, Michael blends traditional Eastern musicality and western minimalism. Screened content featuring his compositions include Climate Refugees, The Road to Dharma, Heal, Awake: The Life of Yogananda, Reconciliation, HBO's Hot Coffee and Clarity, with yet another in the works now. He has participated at The Sundance Film Festival, on a series of distinguished panels featuring veteran composers and directors weighing in on the importance of positive relationships during the filmmaking process.
Our Culture / Our Language
SSR is about discovery, learning and connection, so you'll see words like series, salon, course and lesson.
We intentionally use the word "salon" because that's what we are, but in a contemporary way. The majority time in our gatherings is spent talking among us... not being "talked at" by the screen or a speaker. That's what salons used to be and that's the experience we bring to you.
About Online Screening Salons
In our gatherings every participant, including Christine and her Featured Guests, adds their unique ingredients into the mix. These salons are about experiencing, sharing and gaining new insights in an open, collaborative and genuine setting. The theme and screened content are the bridge to group conversation, and no one... not even the Featured Guest is expected to be an expert. We all come as we are, and that's actually what makes it special.
Each online screening salon lasts two hours, with most of the time spent in group interaction.
* Talk time vs. screening time may vary, and programs are subject to change given the nature of the content creation industry and opportunities which might arise.
